RC Satellite + Entertainment is a small business specializing in satellite TV and home theater installation. Basically, they're the experts in all things home entertainment. When branding RC Sat, it was important to find a unique spin within a saturated industry. Many installers and service providers in the home entertainment field use similar identity elements when defining their brand. My research in the local market revealed that this similarity most frequently appeared in the form of shiny, dimensional swooshes. I wanted to steer the company away from this approach so that a qualitative distinction could be seen within the brand's DNA.
To find a unique foundation for their look, I was inspired by antique electronics labels. You know. The ones you find on the back of that radio at the flea market. Or that old TV in your grandfather's attic. Those labels often have an array of interesting icons, shapes and strings of numbers that scream vintage. The end result is a unique brand that offers a tongue in cheek nod to bygone days of analogue electronics.
The project includes a functional invoice system for clerical purposes, technician uniform standards for warm and cold weather, vehicle concept and in-store poster concepts.
KANSAS DEPARTMENT OF LABOR
Awareness campaign for television and digital pre-roll directed at Kansas employers. The ad was created to inform HR personnel that they can now file unemployment paper work online instead of using paper forms and traditional mail services. The paperless process is easier, faster and more convenient.

HARD ROCK ENERGY DRINK
JNA Advertising was tasked with launching a new line of energy drinks under the Hard Rock brand. I was part of the team that helped develop the overall essence of the brand for launch. We worked to create messaging and a look that would be consistent with the Hard Rock brand and cater to males from age 18 to 24.

SALES KIT: I recreated a Marshall half stack guitar amp that would be used by the sales team as a product demo kit. The sales kit was designed to hold three cans and several informational booklets about the product.
TWELVE / NINETEEN
Twelve / Nineteen: A Modern Bakery specializes in handcrafted, small batch extracts, infused sugars and made-to-order baked goods. By combining the highest quality ingredients, Twelve / Nineteen offers an elegant array of designer goods.
Twelve / Nineteen is a startup that I have the pleasure of helping launch from an idea to a reality. The goal of this brand is to develop a sophisticated look that exudes quality and luxury. The result is a stylish, boutique-inspired identity system that spans business cards to product packaging. Although branding has been firmly established, there is much more to come for this small business.
CENTER CITY MARKETPLACE
Center City Marketplace was an organized event in Springfield, Missouri that was sponsored by local, downtown business owners. The goal of the event was to generate awareness about all the goods and services available in Springfield that many residents may not have been aware of. The event was held at an outdoor venue on Mother's Brewing Company's property. Patrons payed a small admission fee and were able to sample great food, shop local goods at pop up stores, listen to live music and drink their favorite local beer. I developed a branded system to promote the event. This project included a variety of applications like admissions badges, apparel, swag, posters and an official blog.
The mark features a small multi-story building (which is representative of many downtown Springfield structures) that is outfitted with shopping bag handles. The idea was to take the character of Springfield's downtown district and couple it with the purpose of the event which was shopping local.
